Organic Shimmer, our San Francisco tanning salon location, offers a Matrix high pressure UV tanning bed. Our tanning bed is an air conditioned open solarium, which is quite spacious and still gives you a fabulous tan all around, without that uncomfortable feeling of being boxed in.
Each tanning bed has five light bank units, equipped with 6 lamps on the upper units and 5 lamps on the lower units. There is also a facial unit that comes with, 6, 800 watt lamps. The purpose of using five individual units is to keep the bed cooler and lower each tanning session time making them more effective.
